The possibility of the Nike Air Mag release in 2011 garnered an abundance of attention when patent papers for a shoe with an automatic lacing system surfaced on the web last month. With that said, the Marty McFly is, and will continue to be, one of the more well-received themes ever. Recently, Jeremy Morsy, a young French designer, created a custom, Marty McFly-themed concept for a hopeful “Back to the Future 4″ movie dubbed the Nike Air On.
The black-colored upper is primarily constructed of nubuck; yet, it also contains a net-like mesh element on the toe box, tongue and collar area. Multiple white sections provide nice color blocking, while red-orange laces/visible Air sole unit act as third-color compliment.
Nike is set to release yet another high-top construction that is similar in color and texture. This pair also possesses a nubuck finished, yet, its predominant color is Medium Grey. It also possesses minimal white hints in the form of the swoosh, outsole and tongue/sole branding. Lastly, this shoe also contains a lighter complexion of grey on the toe area.
The team at Nike Harajuku put together this wild AF1 to show the variety of materials available to each customer. Croc, leather, elephant print and faux zebra hair are just some of the materials utilized on this specific shoe.A clear MX sole sits underneath and boasts pink, blue and neon AIR branding. Which material used do you like most?

Expanding on the Nike SB ”Street Fighter” Pack is this Zoom Paul Rodriguez IV. Dunks were chosen to represent two of the OG characters, so it makes sense that this recent silhouette was designed after Akuma, who first appeared in the final Street Fighter arcade game. Navy canvas is used for the upper, as is a black leather Swoosh. A red kanji (?) that stands for “Sky/Heaven” (In a spritual sense) adorns the back of both shoes, as it does on Akuma’s fighting gear.
Nike Sportswear collection with legendary French textile designer Paule Marrot Editions.nce loved by the British royal family and Jackie Kennedy, Paule Marrot Editions has been creating memorable designs since 1920. Nike Sportswear’s footwear designers integrated Paule Marrot’s 'Aurore' to inspire the 'Les Cerises' print draped two colorways in all-over prints of Cherries on the shoes for Summer 09. 'Les Cerises' is adapted from the original Paule Marrot design – Bigareaux – and is inspired by the cherries sitting in front of her when she met her husband-to-be. Paule Marrot’s textiles were heavily influenced by Marrot’s early studies as a painter under impressionists such as Pierre-August Renoir, Raoul Dufy and Maurice Denis. Accents of the designs show up throughout the rest of the Nike Sportswear Summer 09 Dunk collection as well, not just on the 'Skinny Dunks.' The Nike designer team have used inspiration to create the original Nike Dunk Lo’s in unisex styles as well.
