ALEX NASH SNEAKER ARCHIVE EXHIBITION - JOHANNESBURG - 15 OCTOBER

Recognised internationally for his signature theme: the moc-stitch - a painstaking craft that he learnt from scratch and perfected via trial and error, Alex Nash customs are hybrids that bring together sports and casual design. Raised amid the sneaker one-upmanship of the late '80s and early '90s, London based sneaker customiser Alex Nash grew up fixated with athletic footwear. His admiration for the panels, makeup’s and innovations that marked a golden age of sneaker design left him with a shoe addiction that still hasn't budged.

After showcasing his work to over 2000 people at the Cape Town Station on the 24th of September at STR.CRD kicking with Sportscene, Alex Nash aka NashMoney is bringing the critically acclaimed works he showed in Cape Town to Johannesburg for one night only at the GrayScale Gallery in Braamfontein.

Date: Friday 15 October
Time: 18:00 - 21:30
Venue: GrayScale Gallery. 33 De Korte Street. Braamfontein
